Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Oakland, CA. You will deliver comprehensive obstetric care, staffing 36 hours per week with night shifts, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
- 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
- Valid California RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) and NRP Certification.
Responsibilities
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards.
- Assist with labor, delivery, and cesarean procedures as needed.
- Provide postpartum care and newborn assessment.
- Educate patients and families on recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and nursing staff.
- Document care and incidents accurately in the medical record.
