Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Conroe, Texas. The role requires 3 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/AWHONN/NRP certifications, and 12-hour night shifts.

Travel flexibility and endurance for long shifts are needed. The LD RN will support physicians and staff during labor, delivery, and postpartum care, with emphasis on patient safety, newborn care, and rapid response to emergencies.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP certifications required.
• Must be able to work 12-hour night shifts and travel as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assess cervix progression and dilation; ensure patient safety during birth.
