Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Irving, Texas. The role requires 3 years of acute care experience, 14 weeks duration, 36 hours weekly, and 12-hour night shifts.

As an L&D travel nurse, you will support patients before, during, and after delivery, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure maternal and newborn safety in a fast-paced setting. Benefits and weekly pay are included.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN, EFM required; 3+ years acute care experience
• Travel assignment experience preferred
• Ability to manage high-stress obstetric emergencies

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Monitor cervical dilation progression.
• Assist physicians with epidurals, instruments, and deliveries.
• Provide immediate newborn care after birth.
