Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Alpine, Texas. This 13-week engagement requires a dedicated L&D RN to support obstetric patients on a night shift with 12-hour blocks.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications. Weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and nationwide travel support are provided.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids.
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments.
• Immediate care of newborn.
