Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Arlington, TX. This 13-week travel assignment requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift. The ideal RN has 3 years of recent acute care experience and holds ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications.

Travel RNs provide care before, during, and after delivery, support physicians during procedures, monitor labor progress, and ensure newborn safety. Benefits and a tax-free stipend may be included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• 3 years recent acute care experience required.
• L&D RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assist physicians with epidurals, cesarean prep, and delivery procedures.
• Provide immediate care to newborns.
