Job summary

TotalMed RN in Clifton, TX is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment. Start ASAP; 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Requires 3 years of acute care experience and ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications.

You will monitor labor, assist with epidurals and neonatal care, and support physicians during the birthing process. Travel nurses receive weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required.
• 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week.
• 12-hour night shifts; travel nurse position.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix progression and dilation.
• Maintain clean and dry beds; manage fluids.
• Assist physician with delivery instruments and prep of mother.
• Provide immediate care of newborn.
