Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Silver Spring, MD. The specialist will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, in a fast-paced travel environment.

Candidates should have 3 years of acute care experience and hold ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications. As a travel L&D nurse, you will support patients before, during, and after delivery, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure safety and comfort for mother and newborn.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN required; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor and contractions and assist during delivery.
• Assist physicians with epidurals, cesareans, and delivery instruments.
• Ensure patient and newborn safety and comfort throughout labor and delivery.
