Bear Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking an IT Field Technician for on-site support in Providence, RI, with travel to customer sites across the Augusta, ME area. The role requires hands-on break/fix experience, servicing laptops, desktops, POS systems, and printers, plus basic networking knowledge.

The position requires driving up to 100 miles per day, OT and after-hours as needed, and 24/7 on-call availability. Certifications like A+, Printer+, Network+ are preferred but not required.

Competenze

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous IT Field Technician/break-fix experience.
• Laptop, desktop, and POS repair experience.
• Laser printer repair experience is highly preferred.
• Basic networking knowledge is a plus.

Mansioni

• Break/fix repairs on laptops, desktops, POS equipment, and laser printers.
• Troubleshoot and repair cables and other hardware.
• Perform smart-hands support on network equipment.
• Travel to various customer locations based on service tickets.
• Meet required response times based on ticket severity.
• Provide excellent, professional customer service at each site.
• Use basic tools, including a hand drill, and climb ladders when needed.
