Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with Cath Lab experience for a cardiac IR unit. The role requires at least two years in IR and current ACLS/BLS certification, with RCIS or ARRT certification and MD license if applicable.

Responsibilities include performing cardiac interventional procedures, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM), weekend work, and an on-call rotation. Local candidates within 50 miles receive a reduced rate; travel and licensure reimbursements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an IR Technologist with Cath Lab experience required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification required.
• RCIS or ARRT certification required.
• MD license required if applicable.
• Two professional references required for consideration.
• PDF copies of driver’s license and Social Security card required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit performing cardiac interventional procedures.
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Weekend shifts required.
• On-call requirement of 12-13 days within a 6 week period, covering 5:30 PM-7:00 AM on weekdays and 5:30 PM Friday-7:00 AM Monday on weekends, rotating per call team.
• No floating within scope or to sister facilities.
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position.
• One RTO request permitted.
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate.
• Block scheduling is not accommodated.
• Pending state licenses are not accepted.
