Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Iron River, Michigan. This role requires infusion expertise, PICC line management, and strong patient education to support patients receiving IV therapies and chemotherapy.

The RN Infusion/PICC Nurse will assess, place and manage PICC lines, administer IV medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families. The position offers travel assignments with 40 hours per week and a dayshift schedule.

Qualifications

• RN with infusion experience
• Ability to manage PICC lines and IV therapies
• Strong patient education and safety focus

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments for infusion or PICC needs
• Insert, maintain and care for PICC lines with patient safety in mind
• Administer IV meds/fluids as ordered and monitor responses
• Monitor patients during/after infusions and adjust care plans accordingly
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and infusion therapy at home
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care across settings
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed throughout care
