Job summary

TotalMed RN in Tualatin, Oregon seeks an Infusion/PICC RN for a 13-week travel assignment. You will provide specialized infusion therapy, PICC line management, and nursing care, ensuring patient safety, education, and comfort in the infusion setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of infusion RN experience, BLS certification, and state licensure eligibility. Expect 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, with a travel-focused schedule and supportive care team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN infusion experience
• Current BLS certification
• State licensure eligibility; additional certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for infusion therapy or PICC placement
• Insert and care for PICC lines and central venous access devices
• Administer IV medications and monitor infusion responses
• Monitor patient responses during and after infusions; adjust care plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and infusion therapy at home
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care
• Document nursing interventions and patient progress per regulations
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols
• Manage a caseload with timely visits and updates
