Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Infusion/PICC RN for a travel assignment in Newton Lower Falls, MA. The role involves infusion therapy and PICC line management with focus on safety, patient education, and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• One year of RN infusion experience required.
• Current BLS certification and state licensure eligibility.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments for infusion therapy or PICC placement.
• Insert, maintain, and care for PICC lines and other central venous access devices.
• Administer IV medications and monitor patient responses during and after infusions.
• Provide patient and family education on PICC care and infusion therapy at home.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
