Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU assignment at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. Day shifts are 12 hours, 3 days per week, onsite. Must have active RN license and be ready to start 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must have ACLS, BLS & NIH Certification.
• Licensed RN in-hand prior to submission.
• Experience in ICU with mixed medical-surgical patients.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• Experience with critical drips and vents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care per unit protocols.
• Monitor ventilated patients and manage critical drips.
• Assist with lines, tubes and bedside procedures.
• Document patient data and interventions in Sunrise EMR.

Number of Beds – 20 beds
Number of Staff –

Type of staff:

• o Day Shift – 1 charge, 8-10 RN s, 1-3 LNA s, and sitter PRN
• o Night Shift - 1 charge, 8-10 RN s, 1-3 LNA s, and sitter PRN

Patient Ratios – variable biased on acuity (ECMO 2:1, post open heart surgery 1:1, Critical ICU/ devices pt 1:1, typical ICU assignment 1:2, stepdown assigned 1:3-4)

Type of equipment – IV pumps, Telemetry monitors, hoyer/ stand lifts, Impella, IABP, CRRT(nxstage), bladder scanner, Bair hugger, rapid transfuser, Blanketrol (for warming and cooling pts), chest tubes, vein finder, Sorin retransfuser post cardiac surgery, ventilator, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/ CPAP

EMR – Sunrise

Patient Population – mixed medical and surgical ICU

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Telemetry
• Ideally PCU or greater

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Experience with critical drips, vents, etc.
• Prior ICU experience

• Pericardialcentesis with drains left in place post-preprocedure
• Thoracentesis
• Central line insertion
• Arterial line insertion
• Chest tube insertion
• Intubation
• TEE cardioversion, TTE
• Transvenous pacing wire insertion
