Johnstone Supply's Lancaster, PA team is seeking an experienced HVAC Inventory Data Analyst who travels. This full-time role focuses on forecasting inventory needs and optimizing stock levels to support profitability.

You will analyze inventory data, identify patterns, validate records, and plan replenishments while partnering with operations, procurement, and warehousing to reduce carrying costs. Strong Excel skills, experience with Power BI or Tableau, and familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, data analytics, business analytics, supply chain management, or industrial engineering
• 3+ years of experience in inventory, operations, or supply chain analytics
• HVAC experience preferred
• Advanced Excel proficiency, with macros, pivot tables, and Power Query
• Exceptional data analysis skills and comfort with statistics
• Analytical problem-solving abilities
• Working knowledge of inventory management and supply chain methodologies
• Ability to use visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to present data insights
• Comfort using inventory management software and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite)

Responsibilities

• Forecast inventory needs to maintain optimal stock levels and support profitability
• Analyze inventory data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities
• Validate data, monitor records, and plan replenishment orders
• Investigate discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
• Develop strategies to optimize inventory management procedures and reduce carrying costs
