Job summary

Johnstone Supply is seeking a customer-focused representative to service HVAC/R customers, manage orders, and support sales initiatives from a busy, multi-branch environment. You will work with Purchasing to ensure inventory availability and apply pricing guidelines for efficient ordering.

Strong communication skills and detail orientation are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. English proficiency is required; multilingual abilities are valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Required: High School Diploma / GED. Minimum 1 year in a customer service focused position.
• HVAC/R product knowledge Minimum 2 years.
• Preferred: Minimum of 2 years in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve the needs of a specific market; work with Purchasing to ensure inventory levels meet client needs.
• Respond to customer needs, take orders, enter them in the system, apply credit guidelines, maintain pricing, and provide pricing/availability information.
• Research products, provide information, cross-sell, upsell, support promotions, handle returns professionally, and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Assist in inventory counts and special projects; drive sales activity through outbound calls as directed by management.
• Handle toll-free order hotline and other calls; adhere to company policies and procedures.
