Johnstone Supply Albuquerque Group is seeking a dependable Counter/Warehouse Associate for a hybrid role that combines customer-facing sales support with warehouse logistics. You will handle inventory, order processing, and routine customer interactions in a fast-paced HVAC wholesaler setting.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a customer-first mindset, and familiarity with barcode scanning and warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience in HVAC distribution preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, parts, and tools a plus.
• Experience with barcode scanning and warehouse management systems desirable.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one (company-provided).
• Must be able to frequently lift over 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in and call-in customers professionally.
• Generate new and repeat sales with accurate product info.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
• Process customer transactions via POS or ERP system.
• Communicate availability, pricing, and delivery status to customers.
• Fulfill orders and manage inventory for counter/online sales.
