Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks an experienced pipefitter to lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, and industrial processing. The role requires working up to 50 hours per week, travel to project sites, and adherence to safety protocols.

Eligible employees will receive a $3.00 hourly completion bonus, in addition to base pay of $47 per hour, subject to payout conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Applicable pipefitter training and NCCER/NCCCO or approved 3rd party certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures.
• Select type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications.
• Inspect worksite to determine obstructions and to ensure holes do not weaken structure.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid obstructions and other crews.
• Cut, thread, and join pipe with appropriate joints and fittings.
• Install and maintain refrigeration and air‑conditioning systems as required.
• Travel to different job sites on limited notice.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Foreman or Superintendent.
