Job summary

MasTec is seeking a Pipefitter to lay out, fabricate, assemble and install piping systems for industrial facilities. You will work on steam, hot water, heating, cooling and processing systems, ensuring safety and quality on every job.

Role involves site inspections, material selection, cutting, threading, bending and joining pipes, plus welding fixtures. Expect up to 90% travel to project sites and a 50-hour work week with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• NCCER/NCCCO or approved 3rd party certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping systems.
• Select pipe types/sizes per job specifications.
• Inspect site for obstructions and plan installations.
• Cut, thread, bend and join pipe with various methods.
• Weld holding fixtures to structural members; travel to sites.
• Follow safety policies and assist foreman as needed.
