Job summary

CBIZ is seeking an Branch Installation Technician to deploy, install, and support technology systems in Edward Jones branch offices across the territory. The role involves leading projects from start to finish, including cabling, workstation setup, networking, telephony, and AV installations, with frequent overnight travel and a company vehicle provided where applicable.

Travel is extensive, approximately 75% of assignments, with air travel, hotels, and time away from home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years related experience.
• Valid driver's license and 21+ for vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively to perform branch installations and technology refresh projects.
• Deploy computers, monitors, printers, networking equipment, telephony, and AV.
• Install and maintain structured cabling in commercial environments.
• Lead on-site installation activities and coordinate field service technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, telephony, and AV issues during installation projects.
• Maintain project documentation, work logs, and asset tracking records.
• Coordinate installation schedules and communicate updates with customers and internal teams.
