Job summary

CBIZ Field Service Technicians support Edward Jones branch offices, vendor sites, and home FA locations within their Milwaukee territory. The role covers installation, upgrades, and maintenance of branch connectivity and network devices, with travel up to 3 hours one way.

The job is hybrid but primarily field-based in Milwaukee, WI, with one training week at HQ. You will perform IMAC tasks, manage tickets, and maintain assets, while delivering excellent customer service and keeping equipment,

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two or more years IT/field service experience.
• Able to use all related computer hardware and software.
• Able to use job related tools.
• Able to safely use step ladder.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 100+ pounds of equipment.
• Possess a valid driver's license in the employee's state of residence.
• Maintain residence in assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to efficiently and effectively complete maintenance, project, and IMAC calls within deadlines.
• Provide backup coverage for neighboring service areas when needed.
• Monitor ticket queue and own tickets in assigned area toward resolution per SLAs.
• Schedule ETA commitments aligning with client preferences and safe, timely arrival.
• Perform ticket updates with dates, times, resolution codes, hardware usage, and other details.
• Maintain Asset Management duties with timely asset transactions and shipping logs.
• Provide timely technical support to clients with minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain current inventory of parts and tools for client visits.
• Stay familiar with documentation and tools for on-site and remote repairs.
• Schedule maintenance for company vehicles per CBIZ specifications.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade voice, data, and AV hardware and cabling.
• Operate a company vehicle for site travel.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build trust in technical expertise.
• Participate in additional projects as needed.
• Carry and respond to a company-issued cellphone for on-call support.
