Job summary

CBIZ seeks a Branch Installation Technician to deploy and support technology in Edward Jones branch offices across the territory, leading projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include cabling, workstation deployment, networking, telephony, and AV installations, coordinating with third-party contractors.

The role requires extensive travel, including 75% overnight stays, with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent field service experience.
Able to use related computer hardware and software.
Able to safely use step ladder.
Able to lift and/or move up to 100+ pounds of equipment.
Possess a valid driver's license and reside in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Travel extensively to perform branch installations, relocations, renovations, and technology refresh projects.
Complete full technology deployments including computers, monitors, printers, networking equipment, telephony, and AV systems.
Install, terminate, test, and maintain structured cabling in commercial environments.
Lead on-site installation activities and coordinate field staff, vendors, and contractors.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, telephony, and AV issues during projects.
Ensure installations meet company standards, project requirements, and quality expectations.
Maintain project documentation, logs, and asset tracking records.
