Job summary

At KARL STORZ North America, the Field AV Installation Technician role focuses on delivering advanced operating room integration solutions in hospital settings. You will install, configure, and support integrated OR systems, including AV, network, and software components, while collaborating with site leads and customers.

The position requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and a willingness to travel up to 80% across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in audio‑visual, cabling, networking, or related field service.
• Experience with cable installation/termination and networked systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook/Word/Excel).
• Strong communication and ability to work with customers and teams.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy integrated OR systems including AV, network, and software.
• Perform cable installation, termination, mounting, and cable management.
• Configure software, network devices, and OR integration platforms.
• Collaborate with site leads, customers, and hospital staff to deliver projects on schedule.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols, maintain professional on‑site presence.
• Complete project documentation, time reporting, and expenses accurately.
