Job summary

KARL STORZ North America seeks a Field AV Installation Technician to deploy integrated operating room solutions across North America. This hands-on role installs audio-visual, network-based, and software-enabled systems in hospital and surgical environments, collaborating with Site Leads to ensure safe, compliant deployments.

The position requires travel up to 80%, a high school diploma or GED, and 3–5 years in structured cabling or AV deployment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in structured cabling, AV systems, networking, field service, or related technical field.
• Experience pulling, terminating, and managing cables in healthcare, commercial, or tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy integrated OR systems by installing, routing, terminating and managing AV, network, control, and power cabling.
• Configure software and network-connected devices to enable advanced OR functionality.
• Work with Site Leads and deployment teams to complete installations safely and per SOPs and SLAs.
