Job summary

KARL STORZ SE & CO. KG is seeking a Field AV Installation Technician to deploy integrated operating room solutions across North America. You will install, configure, and test audio-visual and networked systems in hospitals and surgical settings.

The role requires extensive travel (up to 80%) and flexible scheduling to meet project needs, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in structured cabling, AV, networking or field service.
• Experience pulling and managing cables in healthcare or tech environments.
• Proficiency with tools including crimp, soldering, voltmeters.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy integrated OR systems with cabling and devices.
• Configure software and network-connected devices for OR functionality.
• Collaborate with Site Leads to complete installations safely and per SOPs.
• Maintain project documentation, expense reporting, and credentialing requirements.
