AMP - Accelerated Mobile Power in The Woodlands Corporate Office is seeking an Electrical & Controls TFA (Technical Field Advisor) to provide hands-on electrical and industrial controls field expertise. You will install, verify, commission, and troubleshoot mobile turbine generator packages and balance-of-plant interfaces, supporting startups and reliability tests.

The role involves travel up to 80% and a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation with a Thursday-Wednesday shift.

Qualificações

10–15 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical and controls installation/commissioning.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; equivalent mix of education and experience considered.
Ability to read single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and network diagrams.
Proven troubleshooting across electrical/controls boundaries in the field.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety (LOTO, arc flash) and safety culture.
Willingness to travel extensively and work extended shifts in field conditions.

Responsabilidades

Lead electrical safety and compliance with LOTO, arc flash, and permit-to-work.
Support commissioning activities and create test packs and logs.
Verify installation of generators, transformers, switchgear, and related cabling.
Configure and verify PLC/HMI/RTU, I/O and network connections.
Coordinate with client and SCADA for data flows and telemetry.
Document commissioning results and produce as-built updates.
Maintain configuration control for PLC programs and network parameters.
