Job summary

AMP - Accelerated Mobile Power seeks an experienced High Voltage (HV) Technician to support field power generation operations at mission-critical data centers. You will operate, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and switch medium voltage systems and transformers at AMP owned sites, with emphasis on safety and precision.

The role requires travel to power generation sites, on-call support, and a rotational schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and technical training related to electrical power systems.
• Typically 5+ years in industrial/power generation or data center power environments.
• Experience with 13.8 kV/34.5 kV systems and high voltage switching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain AMP owned HV distribution systems and transformers for data center sites.
• Perform switching, isolation, LOTO, and return-to-service per procedures.
• Inspect for leaks, temperature, insulation, and grounding; troubleshoot faults and coordinate with teams.
