Job summary

Accelerated Mobile Power is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Power Generation to support critical load systems at data center sites. The role emphasizes mechanical expertise with strong electrical troubleshooting across gas turbine packages and balance-of-plant equipment, including lubrication, fuels, hydraulics, and controls.

Field-based position with frequent travel, on-call support, and a rotation schedule to ensure reliability and uptime for AMP’s generation fleet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school, industrial maintenance program, or apprenticeship strongly preferred.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience involving rotating equipment or power generation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas turbine generator packages and balance of plant.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, lubrication, and hydraulic subsystems.
• Inspect and service mechanical components such as pumps, valves, bearings, and seals.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation using schematics, sensors, and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with HV, OEMs, and contractors for specialized work.
