Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead large-scale construction projects from feasibility to completion. You will develop strategies, plans, and budgets while assembling qualified project teams and supervising craft activities across disciplines.

Travel is extensive (70%+), with the possibility to be based anywhere in the US. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement in project delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 8+ years supervisory experience in facility construction tech, commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience on Commercial/Industrial projects with budgets of at least $15M.
• Valid US driver’s license and valid passport; willingness to travel; travel estimated at 70+%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise construction activities; determine methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Coordinate work with different crafts, departments, or contractors; maintain communication with unions.
• Monitor safety programs; ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support schedules.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders—executives, clients, vendors—to align and address concerns.
• Track project progress with metrics; adjust plans to meet changing requirements.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulations.
• Seek ways to optimize processes and improve project outcomes through innovative approaches.
