Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead and manage large-scale industrial and commercial projects across the full lifecycle, from feasibility through completion. You will develop strategies, plans, and budgets, and assemble qualified project teams while coordinating trades and ensuring schedules are met.

Based in the US, this role requires extensive travel (70%+), valid US driver’s license and passport, and a proven track record in safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8+ years supervisory experience on facility construction projects (commercial/industrial).
• Experience on Commercial/Industrial projects with budgets ≥ $15M.
• Willingness to travel; valid US driver’s license and passport; travel 70%+.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise construction activities, determine methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Coordinate work across crafts and departments; manage unions and communications.
• Monitor safety programs and ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support schedules.
• Engage internal/external stakeholders to align on project goals and resolve issues.
• Track progress with metrics and adjust plans to changing requirements.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements and innovative methodologies.
