Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a GI/Endoscopy Technician with 1+ years of hospital endoscopy experience to support procedures in a hospital setting using Epic EMR.

The role emphasizes 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 1:1 patient care, and responsibilities spanning documentation, instrument processing, and universal protocol compliance. Ohio BCI & FBI fingerprinting is required after offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy experience in hospital setting.
• BLS required; CST preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• 2 professional references, with at least one from a manager/director.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic services in a hospital Endoscopy Unit for adults and pediatrics per policy.
• Work across multiple locations including Endoscopy Unit and ORs for MAC or general anesthesia cases.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio and operate with Epic EMR for charting.
• Handle equipment documentation, instrument processing, and sterilization/disinfection.
• Participate in universal protocol procedures prior to cases.
