Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for a hospital-based GI lab in Burlington, VT. Requirements include 2+ years in-unit Endoscopy experience, AHA BLS, and Epic EMR proficiency. You will perform intra-procedure duties, operate endoscopy equipment, and participate in high-volume ERCP procedures.

This is a full-time, on-site role with rotating day shifts and on-call requirements. Candidates must have a license if applicable; local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• AHA BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of in-unit Endoscopy experience.
• Hands-on experience with endoscopy equipment, snares, and probes.
• Intra-procedure experience operating equipment during procedures.
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required.
• License may be required depending on local rules.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Endoscopy unit setting.
• 8-hour day shifts with rotating start times across 5 days per week.
• Rotating days and evenings plus on-call requirement.
• No floating required.
• High volume of ERCP procedures performed.
• Uses endoscopy equipment including snares and gold probes.
• Operates equipment intra-procedure.
• Uses Epic EMR for charting.

• Hands-on experience with endoscopy equipment, snares, gold probes, and similar tools
• Intra-procedure experience with ability to operate equipment during procedures
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Endoscopy unit setting
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week, rotating between 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, and 9:00 AM-5:30 PM start times
• Rotating days and evenings plus on-call requirement
• No floating required
• High volume of ERCP procedures performed
• Uses endoscopy equipment including snares and gold probes
• Requires intra-procedure experience operating equipment during procedures
• Utilizes Epic EMR for charting
• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
• No block schedules permitted
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended, including all-season or snow tires during winter months, as public transportation is not accessible in the area
• Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Accepts local candidates
• Radius-based pay rate applies for candidates within 50-100 miles
