Job summary

Rentokil is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to support hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in upholding brand standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will conduct inspections, observe food safety practices, and work with clients to address discrepancies while traveling 50-70% of the time, including some evenings and weekends.

This role requires CP-FS/ServSafe certifications where applicable, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must possess CP-FS certification or be able to obtain it.
• ServSafe certification a plus.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (employer coverage).
• Strong knowledge of food safety is preferred.
• Able to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays, plus evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and brand standards.
• Observe food prep and cooking standards to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Address root causes of discrepancies and develop corrective action plans with clients.
• Coach clients to create safer, healthier workplaces for their customers.
• Travel 50%-70%, including some evenings and weekends.
