Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to support hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients by upholding brand standards, ensuring high food quality, and delivering friendly, customer-focused service. The role involves audits, inspections, corrective action plans, and travel up to 70% with some evenings/weekends.

The ideal candidate will have CP-FS and/or ServSafe certifications, strong food safety knowledge, and excellent listening, organization, communication and time

Qualifications

• CP-FS certification required
• Willing to travel 50-70% (8-10 days per month) including some evenings and weekends
• Valid driver’s license required
• ServSafe and/or CP-FS certification a plus
• Strong knowledge of food safety preferred
• Excellent listening, organization, communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and inspections to measure conformity to standards
• Observe food prep and cooking to ensure safety
• Develop corrective action plans with clients
• Educate clients on creating a safer workplace
• Travel 50-70% (8-10 days per month) including evenings and weekends
• Maintain documentation and records
• Influence others with tact and provide constructive feedback
• Work autonomously with a flexible schedule
• Organize and prioritize work by urgency and efficiency
• Maintain strong food safety knowledge
