Job summary

Rentokil is seeking a Food Safety Specialist to support hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in upholding brand standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will conduct audits, observe food safety practices, and develop corrective actions with clients, while traveling 50-70% of the time, including evenings and weekends. A CP-FS certification or ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• Meet the requirements to obtain CP-FS certification.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).
• Strong knowledge of food safety is preferred.
• ServSafe and/or CP-FS Certification(s) a plus.
• Excellent listening, organization, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and inspections to assess conformity with regulatory, industry, and brand standards.
• Observe food prep and cooking standards to ensure food safety, health, and sanitation practices.
• Partner with clients to address root causes of assessment discrepancies and develop corrective action plans.
• Teach and coach clients to create a safer, healthier workplace for staff and customers.
• Travel 50%-70%, or 8–10 days per month, including some evenings and weekends.
