Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue by maximizing hotel sales across accounts and events. The role focuses on recruiting and coaching sales staff, negotiating terms, and coordinating cross-department service to customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related industry preferred.
• Travel requirement 50% or more.
• Proven track record in sales required and previous hospitality sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates; ensure adherence to brand standards and HHM values.
• Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to past, present, and potential clients.
• Negotiate terms to satisfy client requirements while protecting hotel interests.
• Manage accounts; ensure solicitation and closing are properly documented.
• Coordinate departments' participation in servicing accounts.
• Maintain relationships with key accounts to boost revenue and satisfaction.
• Develop and deliver persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
• Articulate hotel benefits and close sales opportunities.
• Travel locally for outside calls and promotions; represent hotel at trade shows.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines as part of HHM program.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
