Brown & Brown, Inc. seeks a Financial Operations Audit Analyst to join our Internal Audit team in Maitland, FL.

The role focuses on planning, executing, and reporting on Financial Operations audits across decentralized locations, with opportunities to network with senior leadership and explore multiple offices. You will prepare audit sections, document findings, perform re-tests, and mentor newer team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 1–2 years of accounting or audit experience.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CPA/CIA/CFE encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, complete, and review audit sections per programs; conduct interviews and analyze information.
• Document work clearly to support conclusions.
• Perform self-reviews to ensure quality standards.
• Organize multiple projects and follow up on open items to meet deadlines.
• Update Director/Manager on review status and observations.
• Conduct audit observations re-tests to verify action plans.
• Arrange travel for each review.
• Mentor and coach new Audit Team members.
• Perform due diligence for potential acquisitions as needed.
• Execute other duties as assigned by leadership.
