Job summary

Brown & Brown in Maitland, FL seeks a Financial Operations Audit AI & Automation Specialist to modernize the FOA function. Lead audits, assess controls, and implement AI-enabled auditing techniques to improve coverage and efficiency.

You will use Power BI, Excel/Power Query, and AI tools to analyze data, while mentoring teammates and driving continuous auditing initiatives across multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or CIA designation preferred or actively pursuing.
• 4+ years in internal audit, public accounting, or related assurance role.

Responsibilities

• Execute financial and operational audits per approved plans.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of controls including SOX/ICFR.
• Draft audit observations and recommendations; support reports.
• Apply data analytics and automation to planning and testing.
• Mentor junior team members and help enhance methodologies.
