Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our nationwide team. You will travel to customer sites to commission, integrate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery and automation equipment, ensuring reliable operation and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must live within 50 miles of a major airport
• Able to travel 90-100% travel
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to effectively use I/O structure for troubleshooting
• Able to use electrical/electronic test/measurement equipment
• Able to document technical data accurately
• Excellent communication with corporate office
• Strong customer service orientation

Responsibilities

• Support sales staff in servicing equipment
• Install new equipment at customer sites
• Provide solutions for servicing equipment at customer locations
• Document all service performed and future needs
• Maintain excellent customer service and satisfaction
• Demonstrate software capabilities to customers
• Prepare timesheets, service reports, and installation forms
• Track expenses and complete expense reports
• Maintain a safe work environment per OSHA/MIOSHA
• Communicate with other departments as needed
• Work overtime as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
