Software Placement Group is seeking a Field Service Technician in the United States. The role involves traveling to customer sites to commission, install, and troubleshoot CNC machinery, with 90-100% travel and a requirement to live within 50 miles of a major airport.

Responsibilities include supporting sales, documenting service performed, and maintaining strong customer relationships. OSHA/MIOSHA compliant and proficient in Microsoft Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to interpret I/O structures for troubleshooting.
• Ability to use electrical/electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Strong documentation of technical data and resolutions.
• Good communication with corporate office and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support sales staff in servicing equipment.
• Install new equipment at customer sites.
• Provide service solutions at customer locations.
• Document all service performed and future needs.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and safety compliance.
• Demonstrate software capabilities to customers.
• Prepare timesheets and installation forms promptly.
• Track expenses and file reports accurately.
• Communicate with other departments as needed.
• Work overtime as required.
