OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation is seeking Contract Investigators in the Danbury, CT area. This as-needed role requires a minimum of ten hours per week when work is available and occasional travel by car or plane to conduct investigations.

Responsibilities include in-person interviews, gathering data for investigations, and traveling to various employment, residence, and education sites. Candidates must be local to Danbury and able to obtain required clearances.

Formación

• U.S. Citizenship requirement.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of specialized Federal Background investigative experience within the last 5 years.
• Some FIS experience.
• Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record.
• Willing to travel on temporary duty assignments as needed (by car or plane).
• Pass background checks and required training.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret instructions in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, procedures, or regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• MS Windows environment proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Email.
• Current SSBI or active Secret clearance based on an SSBI and able to obtain required clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-person, one-on-one subject interviews to obtain factual information.
• Obtain factual information from personal and record sources to produce a report of investigation.
• Travel throughout the geographic area to conduct investigations at various locations.
• Be willing to travel within 30-50 miles as needed.
• Engage with managers, contractor facilities, government organizations, and law enforcement to maintain relationships.
• Adapt to changing situations and interact with diverse people.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications and professional demeanor.
• Work load based on availability of leads in geographic area.
• Some voluntary TDY assignments in other areas (2-4 weeks) possible.
• Other duties as required.
