Job summary

OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation is seeking Contract Investigators to perform background investigations for DHS and intelligence clients across the United States. The role is 1099 on an as-needed basis with a minimum of ten hours per week available and travel within a 35–50 mile radius from the city location.

Compensation is hourly at $48.50/hr; actual pay is determined by contract requirements. The position requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel for investigations in

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of specialized Federal Background investigative experience within last 5 years.
• Must have some FIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person, one-on-one subject interviews to obtain information per guidelines.
• Obtain factual information from various sources to produce a background report.
• Travel to conduct investigations at workplaces, residences, and schools as cases are assigned.
• Interact with managers and government agencies to maintain working relationships.
• Work hours vary; some TDY possible; home office based with travel in personal vehicle.
