Job summary

OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation is seeking contract investigators for immediate openings on a 1099 basis. Positions have no guaranteed hours, but contractors should be available for at least ten hours per week and travel within a 35-50 mile radius of the city location, using a home-office base.

Investigators interview subjects in person, collect information from various sources, and produce investigation reports compliant with agency guidelines.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of federal background investigative experience in last 5 years.
• Some FIS experience required.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews to obtain factual background information.
• Gather information from records to produce a comprehensive report.
• Travel within specified geographic area to conduct investigations.
• Interact with managers, government agencies, and affiliates to maintain relationships.
• Write reports and maintain professional demeanor.
