Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Foreman to supervise operational activities for Des Moines Portable 1. The role oversees plant production, maintenance and mobile equipment across multiple sites, with travel between Winterset, IA, Springfield, NE and Fort Calhoun West, NE locations.

Responsibilities include leading the hourly workforce, implementing safety and environmental processes, and achieving production and safety objectives. Excellent communication and PC skills are essential.

• Familiarity with safety and environmental processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise training and development of the team.
• Plan and schedule workloads and tasks.
• Manage performance and provide feedback to hourly workforce.
• Lead safety and environmental initiatives and meet objectives.
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in PC use, MS Office and Aggflow.
• Lead positively and set a strong example.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
