Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Foreman to supervise operational activities for Des Moines Portable 1. The role oversees plant production, maintenance and mobile equipment across multiple sites, with travel between Winterset, IA, Springfield, NE and Fort Calhoun West, NE locations.

Responsibilities include leading the hourly workforce, implementing safety and environmental processes, and achieving production and safety objectives. Excellent communication and PC skills are essential.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will supervise up to 24 direct reports.

Work Environment

This job operates frequently in operations and maintenance environments in open pit quarry locations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Required Education And Experience

• Previous experience in aggregate operations
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years related experience
• Previous supervisory experience in a mining environment
• Must have a valid U.S driver's license
• Preferred Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1-year supervisory experience in a mining environment
