Job summary

Global Technical Talent, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist II - Float for Fort Lauderdale, FL on a contract basis. The role requires travel between sites, on-site work, and a 6-month duration with a consistent 6:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, strong patient interactions, and the ability to cover multiple locations. Certification and Florida credentials are preferred but not always required. Mileage is reimbursed where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.
• FL phlebotomy credential preferred but not required.
• Must be able to travel between multiple sites.
• Excellent customer service and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled correctly.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients and staff.
