Job summary

Global Technical Talent, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist II - Float in Merritt Island, FL. The role is onsite with travel between multiple Patient Service Centers and offices, 36 hours weekly, with a 3-month contract. Requires phlebotomy expertise and willingness to travel for coverage.

Shifts run 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM ET, with some weekends. Requires a clean driving record and ability to cover various sites on short notice.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing.
• Verify patient demographics and initials post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
