Job summary

Medcor is hiring a Full-Time Float Nurse to provide onsite staffing relief and training in client workplace clinics across multiple states. The role involves travel, mainly throughout the Quad Cities, Waterloo, and Des Moines, with a Monday–Friday schedule and possible weekend travel.

You will collaborate with physicians, clinical leadership, and operations to ensure quality care, set up new clinics, and train staff.

Qualifications

Unencumbered multi-state nursing licensure (RN/LVN/LPN) across IL/IA/WI.
Current CPR/BLS certifications.
At least three years of relevant clinical experience.
Experience with workers' compensation and occupational health.
Strong computer and EMR skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Positive, outgoing team player, willing to go above and beyond for patients.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat illnesses and injuries per Medcor protocols.
Provide services to employees: work injury evaluation, surveillance testing, preventive care, immunizations.
Support wellness programs and assist with drug screens.
Discuss patient care with supervising physicians and other care teams.
Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EMR system.
Assist with clinic set-ups and staff training.
Travel to multiple sites; ensure smooth clinic operations and high patient satisfaction.
