Job summary
Medcor is seeking a Full-Time Float Nurse to provide onsite staffing relief and training in client workplace clinics across multiple states. The Float Nurse will travel to clinics in the Quad Cities, Waterloo, Des Moines, and surrounding areas, delivering care per Medcor protocols and coordinating with physicians and leadership.
Qualified candidates hold unrestricted RN licensure in IL/IA/WI, CPR/BLS, and at least three years of clinical experience, with strong EMR skills and a collaborative,
Qualifications
- Unrestricted RN licensure in IL, IA and WI is required.
- At least three years of relevant clinical experience.
- Experience with workers’ compensation and occupational health.
- Strong computer literacy and EMR familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site staffing relief across multiple state clinics.
- Deliver care per Medcor protocols and coordinate with leadership.
- Assist with clinic set-ups and associate training needs.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate EMR documentation.
- Travel >75% to clinics and participate in occasional weekend coverage.
