Reiser is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Detroit area to install, maintain, and repair packaging and processing equipment. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and excellent customer service, with extensive travel within the region.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in equipment maintenance, understands mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and can read technical diagrams. English/Spanish bilinguals are a bonus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Food processing or packaging machinery experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 60-80% within the region.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Install new packaging and processing machinery and perform routine maintenance and on-site repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues by applying mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems expertise.
• Travel 60-80% within an assigned region to visit food production facilities and support customers.
• Train customers in preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Participate in new projects to install or improve safety and performance of equipment.
