Job summary

Robert Reiser & Co. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair food processing equipment, with extensive travel within the region. You will be part of the FIRST program, receiving extensive product training and support to ensure equipment operates at peak performance.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics. Travel is expected 60-80%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Comfortable with 60-80% travel (in region by automobile or plane).
• Food processing or packaging machinery experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Install new packaging and processing machinery and perform routine maintenance and on-site repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues by applying your expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Spend 60-80% of time traveling within an assigned region to visit food production facilities.
• Train customers in preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly and effectively.
• Participate in new projects to install or improve safety and performance of equipment.
